Sascha’s is now running neck and neck with Stiling vineyard as our most popular Pinot Noir. Easy to understand why: It combines the noble complexity of true Sonoma Coast aromatics with uncommon plushness and palate brilliance... it’s a “best of both worlds” situation! Lush black fruit dominates the nose and palate with layers of blackberry, boysenberry and black cherry. Sweet baking spice and just the right amount of French oak serve to frame and lift all the waves of flavor. And while the palate is long and broad, the natural Sonoma Coast acidity from foggy mornings and chilly, breezy nights keeps the whole package fresh, complete and completely satisfying. This year the outstanding Roberts Road vineyard comprises 96% of the blend and while always a vital piece of the puzzle, it is now clearly the heart and soul of this wine. 2019 marks our 11th year working with the vineyard and this is some of the best fruit we’ve received from it. An audacious contrast to our more cerebral Small Town cuvée, the 2019 Sascha Marie is truly a “wow” wine. ** NOTE: We can not ship wine. Please arrange pickup from the Sacramento area.
